Sommaire en anglais
The development and promotion of beneficial management practices (BMPs) remains one of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada's (AAFC) cornerstone commitments to producers and the Canadian agriculture sector. AAFC's Greencover Canada Program includes a Technical Assistance component that focuses on providing farmers with information about various BMPs to help accelerate their adoption. At the same time, Greencover's Critical Areas component was designed with BMPs in mind to help improve the health and function of riparian areas in order to protect habitat and retain water quality.
