Sommaire en anglais
This is a re-publication of the first factsheet produced on 'Honeycrisp' at the Atlantic Food and Horticulture Research Centre. It contains only a few revisions from the original. Nova Scotia's first commercial planting of 'Honeycrisp' apples occurred in 1996. The rapid increase in commercial 'Honeycrisp' plantings, subsequent production and the acceptance of 'Honeycrisp' by North American consumers has challenged researchers to provide relevant production and post-harvest information. In 1997, a project supported through the AAFC Matching Investment Initiative Program provided the first field performance results to growers on the cultivar.
