Researchers in the South Tobacco Creek (STC) Watershed in south-central Manitoba have discovered that the application of multiple beneficial management practices (BMPs) in agricultural areas can substantially reduce nutrient losses to surface water. BMPs are farming practices designed to minimize potential negative impact on the environment.
