Sommaire en anglais
Since the early 1900s, Agriculture Canada research stations, situated strategically throughout the soil zones in the Prairie Provinces (Fig. 1) have conducted more than 68 long-term crop rotation studies. Twenty of these studies still continue. This publication, which focuses on the period since the 1950s, summarizes the effects of rotation length, crop sequence, substitute crops for summer fallow, and fertilization using N and P.
