Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada - Prairie Farm Rehabilitation Administration (AAFC-PFRA) supports agroforestry practices, the use of trees and shrubs in shelterbelts, riparian buffers, and other planting designs to achieve environmental benefits on the agricultural landscape. This is accomplished through research, technology transfer and providing tree and shrub seedlings through the Prairie Shelterbelt Program.
